After a series of painful life-events including the death of my son in a routine hospital operation, the death of a man who committed suicide in my work-place, the early death of my father and my best friend taking his own life in a shooting incident I have reflected how I have been able to move forward positively in life in spite of these and other significant events including serious injury and divorce.
It has taken a lot of self-reflection and realisation of how I have used a coaching approach, if you like a “coaching mentality” to keep moving forward. In a career where dealing with death was part of my work and spending many hours with bereaved families, mature reflection and years of experience have inspired me to use what I have harnessed to help others move forward and live the life they deserve.
About My Program
Who It Is For?
I work with men and women (40+) who have experienced the death of a close friend, spouse, child or parent to deal with the bereavement and move forward to a happy fulfilled life.
Who It Is Not For?
This program is not for individuals undergoing treatment for mental health conditions or undergoing Bereavement counselling.
Module One
Lens on Your Life
Outcome
The first action steps to empowerment and transformation.
In this module we take stock of your situation, what has happened? What effect has it had? It is important to note that bereavement affects everyone in different ways. In this module we get right to the heart of your individual circumstances. This is the foundation for moving forward, the starting point. You’ve got to this point you can do it! Those first action steps will be clarified.
Module Two
Resourcing
Outcome
Values and metaphors a radical shift in thought processes will train your brain in three coherent steps to unshackle any negative thoughts. The power of your mind and the resources and experience you already possess will give you a new outlook and set of thought processes to keep you on track.
Module Three
Positivity
Outcome
Using your new thought processes to positively enhance all areas of your life. In this module we will examine 8 key life areas to ensure everything in your life is moving forward in harmony.
Module Four
The Near Future
Outcome
What you’ve previously enjoyed doing, now you’ll do that and more as you dive into the “50 things” exercise focusing on health, happiness and igniting your curiosity side.
Module Five
Forgiveness
Outcome
Hey, don’t worry about any relapses, we look at how to deal with them instantly and get back on course. In this module you will be empowered to accept a relapse, see how it is normal, forgive yourself, contextualize then use your experience of the earlier modules to re-engage and resume forward progress. The relapse toolkit will assist with that.

The Longer-term Future
Outcome
Beyond goals to achieving everything you want. This goes beyond immediate goals to look at your future life, your hopes and dreams. We look at modelling, role models, contribution, positive memories and giving yourself permission to have a happy life moving forward. You have crystal clear learning and thinking using your powerful new approach to master anything that might come your way, deal with it and get back on track. You ensure your written aspirations are forward thinking, in language that serves you and you are making consistent progress on a daily basis excited and exhilarated to have found a future after a terrible loss.
